Dyslexia - one name, many problems
Herein lies part of the problem. The diversity within dyslexia leads to confusion among those who like to have everything in neat tidy packages. But like many other genetic disorders, it can be caused by the expression of more than one problem gene and in varying degrees. At first this may seem puzzling but when the array is viewed as a whole, a gradation of effect can be seen. This spectrum can be defined and because of this, many programs, such as the one described here, can be implemented and people helped to exercise their latent abilities.
